Being raised in a family system dominated by a malignant narcissist was hell. I could write a thousand books on the ways I was mistreated and abused. These people are incapable of being parents in the true sense of the world. Other people, including their children, exist solely to be manipulated and used to the narc's advantage. But there's a different more insidious process at work that will need to be addressed in any child of a narc's healing journey. It's a journey of self awareness followed by surgical transformation. There are qualities within me that are from him and are like a poison to be removed.


The ways in which a parent incapable of addressing a child's needs behaviors and relationship patterns disform a small child's ability to think and act is profound.
