A man who should never have had a child has two.

As he drives away from his family forever his daughter turns to the mother of his children and says "Dad just took Chris's soul".

Soon afterwards, the soulless child begins to wet his bed and seek love. Attempt to find safety. For this the man's ex-wife, abused and abandoned, beats the a soulless child for being traumatized. Traumatizing him again. Not adding to the trauma. Adding another trauma. Forever replacing the safety of a mother's bed with the scars, seen and unseen, of a home with no compassion. No safety.
